535 Mission Street, San Francisco

535 Mission Street in San Francisco is a 27-story commercial office building containing 307,000 square feet. It was the first office building in San Francisco to be awarded LEED Platinum Core & Shell. 535 Mission features advanced mechanical systems, high-performance facade material, and water use efficiency.

We provided the installation and wiring of controls on the following:

  • 5 air handlers
  • 6 general exhaust fans
  • A central plant that consists of
  • A primary hot water system
  • A domestic hot water system
  • A primary chilled water system
  • Cooling towers and condenser water system
  • 26 control panels
  • 21 transformer panels
  • 463 VAV's
  • 2 split systems
  • 474 thermostats
  • 6 heat pumps
  • 1 transfer fan
  • 1,300 feet of conduit
  • 65,000 feet of control cabling

For this project, we installed a Siemens Apogee control system. We worked very closely with Siemens' project manager. Collectively, our teams brought this project in on time and under budget. It was a very successful endeavor for both parties.
