Salesforce Tower Tenant Improvement Phase

Salesforce Tower in San Francisco is the first-of-its-kind workspace designed specifically to promote the health and well-being of its inhabitants. It is 61 stories high and has 1.4 million square feet.

Innovative outside air intakes on every floor provide outdoor fresh air to each occupant to support health and wellness.

Over 13-foot-high ceilings and 10-foot-high continuous clear glass provide abundant daylight and a sense of openness and freedom.

The Blackwater recycling system is the largest on-site water recycling system in a commercial high-rise building in the United States, and the first of its kind in San Francisco. The Blackwater system reduces potable water usage by 7.8 million gallons a year.

Salesforce Tower uses 50% less energy per square foot than the median United States office building and sources 100% renewable electricity.

We provided the installation and wiring of controls on the following:

  • Floors 1 -5, Floors 13-30, Floors 39-44, Floors 60-61

The scope of work included, but was not limited to, the following devices:

  • 56 fan coil units
  • 45 fan-powered terminal units
  • 15 under-floor terminal units
  • 1,869 swirl diffusers
  • 4 exhaust fans
  • 6 VAV's
  • 2 AC units
  • 855 thermostats
  • 1 outside air makeup unit
  • 3 transfer fans

For this project, we installed an Alerton control system for Syserco. We brought this project in on time and on budget. It was a successful endeavor for both parties.
